Platinum Club Cellars
2015 marks the first release of Platinum Club Cellars wine, blended exclusively for Platinum Clubs of America. The wine has been crafted with the input of a Wine Committee comprising of wine professionals, invited from the Platinum Club Board of Advisors, Platinum Clubs and fine restaurants. Club Leaders Forum has teamed up with one of the foremost winemakers in Washington State, Sparkman Cellars, to bring this unique opportunity to the Platinum Club family.
Production will be limited to 300 cases of 2013 Chardonnay and 500 cases of the extraordinary 2012 vintage Cabernet driven blend. Platinum Clubs of America who secure a Platinum Plus License will receive four bottles of the limited release and will have thirty days to reserve their allotted cases.
Handcrafted by the winemaking team at Sparkman Cellars to celebrate the richness, finesse and balance of wines produced in Washington State, these wines are produced with the guidance of the Platinum Club Cellars Tasting Panel. The Tasting Panel is an elite group of wine professionals, invited from the Platinum Club Board of Advisors, Platinum Clubs and fine restaurants.

Platinum Club Cellars chardonnay is barrel fermented from Olsen Estate and Oasis Vineyards in Washington State. By aging it in barrel for over a year and stirring the silky goodness of the lees back into the wine, we add complexity, richness and mouthfeel. A full, intense nose of baked apple pie, marzipan, crème brulée, and lemon curd, with a kiss of toasty vanilla leads to powerful, yet delicate flavors of Satsuma, citrus oils, white peach and lemon meringue, with a crisp mineral touch to gracefully close the long finish. Delicious immediately and capable of aging for many years.
Grapes: 100% Chardonnay
Vineyard: Olsen Estate, Oasis
Appellation: Columbia Valley
Aging: 33% new French oak
Platinum Club Cellars cabernet sauvignon is sourced from Dionysus, Klipsun and Obelisco Vineyards in Washington State. Deep rich black fruit is enveloped in sweet toasty oak with moderate but firm tannins. A nose of cedar, cigar box, black tea, graphite, brambly garrigue, vanilla and black truffle leads to blueberry, blackberry, licorice, black cherry and cocoa powder flavors. Long and silky, this cabernet sauvignon will age gracefully for many years, but is delicious now.
Grapes: 88% Cabernet Sauvignon / 12% Merlot
Vineyards: Dionysus, Klipsun, Obelisco
Appellation: Columbia Valley
Aging: 65% new French, American oak
